Sterling Product Training
For Sterling personnel we offer two distinct, standalone courses. This page outlines our heavy-duty Course III. We also provide medium-duty product training, see the menu at the left for that information.
COURSE III
Heavy trucks and tractors Our ten lesson Course III is highly recommended for all Sterling sales personnel. Students study and are tested on Sterling product information as well as advanced concepts in sales engineering and specing of Class 8 vehicles. Graduates complete ten written tests using the 392 page TMI textbook and your Sterling product data. Tests are mailed or faxed to us for hand grading. This in-depth course typically requires over 70 hours of study time to complete.
Students work through the ten tests for this course and mail or fax them to TMI for grading. Grades and comments are often returned in one business day. The cost for this in-depth heavy-duty product training is US$825 per US or Canadian enrollment.
GET THE eBOOK: The textbook for this course is also available as an “eBook” on a CD in addition to the printed version. This is a $30 option for the course. Using the free Adobe Acrobat reader, students scroll through, read and search the textbook from most any Windows or Macintosh computer.
