Courses to Cover Light, Medium or Heavy-Duty Truck Applications

Our General courses are all non-make specific. These courses do not require factory data. This series of distance-education courses provides distinct light, medium and heavy-truck training. Students gain fundamental truck knowledge while working through selection and application exercises. Under the General menu at left you can find light and medium-duty training provided in addition to our heavy-duty Course III.

COURSE III

Heavy-Duty Models Class 8 trucks and tractors are the subject of this ten lesson correspondence course. Students study and are tested on product information as well as advanced concepts in sales engineering and specing of Class 8 vehicles. Graduates complete ten written tests using the 392 page TMI textbook and the Truck Data Digest for product data. Tests are emailed, mailed or faxed for hand grading. Grades and comments are often returned in one business day. The cost for this in-depth heavy-duty product training is US$825 per US or Canadian enrollment.
